Ferrari Festival

The annual Ferrari Festival was held this weekend, proceeds go to the Children’s Memorial Hospital. The event is hosted every year by the Italian Village Restaurant at 71 w. Monroe. This year the turnout was great and featured two of the newer Ferraris, the California and the 599, beautiful cars and a very nice event for a great cause.

What’s up this weekend?

On the agenda this weekend . . . The Ferrari Festival, stop back for more info, it should be a very “red” weekend.

Lalah Hathaway performs @ Pearlfest

Pearlfest 2009 was hosted by the Little Black Pearl Gallery on Sunday August 23rd, yours truly of 2eleven was on hand to man the camera. What a great event it was, face painters for the kids, a tumbling act, poets, gospel rappers, food, and Chicago’s own Lalah Hathaway, along with Dianne Reeves, Nona Hendryx and Terri Lyne Carrington all performed. Hats off to Monica and her staff at the Little Black Pearl for an outstanding event.  For more photo coverage, stop by
